Geelong Rental Market Update August 2019
The median rent in for two bedroom units remains unchanged at $320 per week while the median rent for 2 bedroom houses has risen slightly to a new high of $328 per week. And, for the second consecutive month, the same measure for 3 bedroom houses is $370 per week.

It’s been cold and very wet winter so far, but that has not affected Geelong’s rental market at all with the latest data from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria showing some steady figures in July. The median rent in for two bedroom units remains unchanged at $320 per week while the median rent for 2 bedroom houses has risen slightly to a new high of $328 per week. And, for the second consecutive month, the same measure for 3 bedroom houses is $370 per week.

At Geelong Property Managers, we are finding that these rising rents are not slowing down the letting process at all.

In fact, at the time of recording this video, we only have one property available for lease so if you or someone you know would like us to find a tenant for your property, please let us know – our professional team would love the opportunity.

Our recent lettings have spanned from Corio to Armstrong creek with a couple of great examples being 1/34 Saywell Street in North Geelong and 13 Snedden Street in Armstrong Creek. Both properties presented very well with light, bright and spacious feels and tenants simply love this. Also, when you combine a great property with a 3D tour, the interest in the property starts strong even before a prospective tenant actually visits the property for the first time.
